Digital Artefacts
According to Walton et al. (2019), digital artefacts are effective ways to consolidate knowledge and encourage connections between learning and understanding. The longer time spent creating artefacts, the more thorough understanding students develop (Sadik, 2008).
Assignment Guidelines
Duration: 5-15 minutes
Complexity: Appropriate to mentee level
Purpose: Knowledge consolidation and preparation for next session
Follow-up: Use assignments to revise at the beginning of the following session
Assignment Examples
This part is optional but recommended to give mentees food-for-thought. The "assignment" should be able to be completed in 15 minutes, in average. For example:
Simple Tasks: Remember a take-home message
Reflection Tasks: Find a word to describe an uncomfortable emotion
